Terms of use

Effective: October 29, 2026 Last updated: October 29, 2026

These terms govern your use of vanelytics.com. They are short, and they are about the website — not about the work we do for clients.

If you are a Vanelytics client, read this first. Your engagement is governed by the signed agreement between us — scope, price, ownership, data handling, liability, and everything else. Where anything in these website terms conflicts with that signed agreement, the signed agreement controls. Nothing on this page changes, limits, or adds to what we agreed with you in writing.

1. Agreement to these terms

This website is operated by Vanelytics LLC, a Michigan limited liability company ("Vanelytics", "we", "us"). By accessing or using vanelytics.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

You also agree to our privacy policy, which explains what happens to information on this site — in brief, very little.

2. This site is information, not an offer

Everything on this website — the service descriptions, the case studies, the pricing page, the FAQ — is provided for general information about what we do. It is marketing material.

  • Nothing here is a quote, a price, or an offer to contract. The pricing page says every project is quoted, and that is literal: no figure, range, or package on this site binds either of us. A price exists only once we have given it to you in a written scope, and a project exists only once that is signed.
  • Nothing here is a guarantee of a result. The outcomes described in the case studies are what happened in those engagements, with those systems and that data. They are not a promise, a projection, or a representation about what would happen for you.
  • A free consultation is a conversation, not an engagement. Talking to us creates no contract, no obligation on either side, and no professional relationship beyond that conversation.

3. Not professional advice

Content on this site is not legal, financial, accounting, tax, regulatory, or compliance advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a licensed professional about your situation. That includes anything we say about data protection or regulatory obligations. We build data systems; we are not your lawyer or your accountant. Decisions you make in reliance on this website are yours.

4. Intellectual property

The design, text, layout, code, graphics, logo, and the "Vanelytics" name and marks on this site are owned by Vanelytics LLC or used with permission, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

You may view this site, and quote or link to it briefly with attribution as ordinary fair use. You may not copy, republish, reproduce, or reuse the site's content or design as your own or in a competing offering, or use our name or marks without our written permission.

Third-party names, logos, and trademarks that appear on this site — including client marks in the portfolio section — remain the property of their respective owners and appear with permission or as permitted by law. Their appearance does not imply that those owners endorse us beyond the engagement described.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in breach of these terms.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site, its host, or any connected system, or probe or test its security without our written permission.
  • Interfere with the site's operation or availability, including by overloading it or introducing malicious code.
  • Scrape, crawl, or harvest the site by automated means beyond normal search-engine indexing, or use its content to train a machine-learning model.
  • Reverse engineer or attempt to derive the source of any part of the site beyond what your browser is served.
  • Misrepresent yourself as affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for Vanelytics.

6. Links to other sites

Where this site links to a third party, we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices, and a link is not an endorsement. Once you leave this site, their terms and their privacy policy apply, not ours.

7. Availability and changes

We may change, suspend, or discontinue any part of this website at any time, without notice. We may also revise these terms; the revised version takes effect when posted here with an updated effective date, and your continued use after that means you accept it. We do not undertake to keep the site available without interruption or to keep its content current.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

This website is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vanelytics disclaims all warranties, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that this site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, that its content is accurate, complete, or current, or that the site is free of viruses or other harmful components.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Vanelytics LLC and its members, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data, business, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of or inability to use this website, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability arising out of or relating to this website will not exceed one hundred US dollars ($100.00).

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. Where that is the case, the exclusions and limitations above apply to the maximum extent the law permits, and nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited. This section governs the website only; liability under a signed client agreement is governed by that agreement.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vanelytics LLC and its members, officers, employees, and contractors from any claim, demand, loss, liability, or expense, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of your use of this website in breach of these terms or in violation of any law or third-party right.

11. Governing law and venue

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these terms or this website will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in the State of Michigan, and you consent to the personal jurisdiction of those courts. Each party waives any objection to venue in those courts.

12. General

  • Severability. If any provision of these terms is held unenforceable, it will be limited or removed to the minimum extent necessary and the rest remains in effect.
  • No waiver. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of our right to enforce it later.
  • Entire agreement. These terms are the entire agreement between you and us regarding this website, and supersede any prior understanding about it — subject always to the precedence of a signed client agreement, as stated at the top of this page.
  • Assignment. You may not assign your rights under these terms. We may assign ours in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Survival. Sections 3, 4, 8, 9, 10, and 11 survive any termination of your use of this site.
